Creamy Pesto Sauce with a Kick
1 1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt
6 Garlic Cloves
3 Tbs Basil
2 Tbs Dill
1 tsp Salt
1 Jalapeño (optional, for the spicy kick)
Blend together in food processor and spread/serve.
We stumbled upon this concoction when we were trying to make an impromptu creamy pizza sauce one night. This sauce works well as a dip but we particularly enjoy it with our Quinoa Pizza Crust. It gives it a mediterranean flare with a spicy aftertaste that pairs well with the quinoa flavor of the crust.
It takes minute to make! Feel free to tweak it a bit if you need more saltiness or less spiceyness.
